April 1 prank !!

Hello all,

Back again after a long time.
2 days before was my birthday and wow !! what a birthday it was.

It was an usual birthday with wishes pouring in from all quarters, cakes, sweets, visiting temple etc. To make it slightly fun-filled, I decided to play prank on all those who were asking for a treat. Incidentally my birthday was on April 1, more popularly known as April fools’ day.

Here is the mail which I had sent to my office colleagues on April 1 at 10 AM about the grand treat to be hosted by me !!!

Well, after the sweets, everyone’s next big question to me would be “When is the treat ??”
I was thinking about how to make my treat unique, different etc for some time now !!!!!!

I would like to cordially invite each one of you for my treat…..
Treat date: 3rd April 2010, Saturday
Treat time: 4 PM
Treat Venue: Chepauk MA Chidambaram Stadium….
Well it’s the IPL T20 match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
I have got a total of 25 tickets. Excluding me, it’s a total of 24 tickets.
So upto 24 of them can join me for watching the cricket match……

To those who discontinued watching IPL because of Chennai’s poor form,
Yesterday, Chennai won a match almost convincingly and in the next match, seems Bollinger would be there to boost Chennai’s bowling attack..
So its going to be a thriller to watch out….

To all those who don’t watch cricket and to all the girls,

1) You can surely experience the electric atmosphere in and around the stadium
2) You can surely atleast have a look at some of the star players like Hayden, Dhoni, Warne, Raina and ever handsome Badri
3) The time of start of the match is 4 PM and match would end at 7 PM… Its only in the evening…
4) You can surely watch the cheerleaders if the match gets one sided or very boring….

Hello all,

To all those who are coming, here is a tip… Please be there in the stadium 1.5 hours before the match as Naresh Iyer would be performing.

Well the reply until now is …
No, not interested in watching the cheerleaders : 11
Yes, coming – 10
No reply – 7

Hence, I have decided not to give a treat this weekend primarily because of the following reasons

1) Since, the number of ppl not coming exceeds the number of ppl who are coming
2) Many of them were concerned that they will be missing the Saturday’s football match…. Playing football is more more healthier than watching cricket you know !!!
3) Saturday afternoon weather will be very hot or Saturday afternoon mazhai peyum nu nenaikiren… (we would get drenched in rain if we go to watch the match)
4) Badri I think will be playing in the match…
5) and most important of all….. I don’t have any ticket for any IPL match !!!!!!!!

Still you can watch the match live… on TV.. Tune in to SetMax
